PRUEPA: recovery of abandoned small villages

It is an educational project complementary to teaching in the classroom that seeks an approach to the rural life of young people, giving them the possibility of understanding the need for a change in attitudes to ensure the future balance between man and his environment.
Two annual conventions are made: one directed to groups (spring and autumn) and another individual (summer). |
Cross-generational programs

Intergenerational Programs are a set of planned activities coordinated and designed by schools, senior centers and other organizations and associations that want to work together for the mutual benefit of older adults, children and youth.
In 2019 , 75 people gathered in Granadilla to spend the day there in a workshop related to PRUEPA. |

Meteoescuela

Meteoescuela is an Educational Project of AEMET, the University of Extremadura and the Ministry of Education and Employment of the Junta de Extremadura to bring Meteorology and Climatology closer to Educational Centers by creating a School Meteorological Observation Network.
The objectives of the project are to promote students' interest in meteorology, climatology and the environment in general, through experimentation, offering a series of resources for teaching meteorological observation, the study of climate, the analysis of data, etc. |

Cultural walks around Extremadura

This initiative promotes that teachers can go to other schools in the region to observe different ways of working of other teachers, which adapt and apply in their own schools.
Examples: Cáceres- Alba Plata and Castra Caecilia and other Primary and CRA schools of Monesterio, Talayuela, Alagón, Salvatierra de los barros , Madrigal de la vera… among 33 centres (also secondary schools and EOI) |
