to predict a future action or event
It will rain soon.

to express wonder, probability, conjecture, or uncertainty in the present - "I wonder," "probably," "must be"
I wonder how much money they have.
It's probably (It must be) six.
Someone is coming. I wonder who it is?
I wonder if it's my husband.
I wonder if my boyfriend is going to give me a ring.

If you come on time, the boss won't complain.
If you follow the recipe, you'll prepare a good meal.
